We do encourage you to complete as much of the decision-making process as possible on-line at www.hamiltongarage.co.uk or over the telephone before visiting the dealership. Test Drives for car sales are still available but they will be unaccompanied and so we will need to make some security checks so where possible please make an appointment for Sales as well as Service so that we can give you the attention you deserve and limit the number of visitors. Please bring your photo driving license with you. If you do not wish to visit the dealership, we are offering live video walk round presentations of our cars using Facetime, Skype or Zoom or appointments at your home (subject to distance and availability) for Viewings, Testdrives and Handovers. We will ensure the car is sanitised before you enter it. If you have a part-exchange, when collecting your new car please ensure that all items are removed from it and if possible, leave the car windows open to fully ventilate it.
If you can please limit your Service visit to one person where possible (and a maximum of two) and if you or any member of your household are unwell then please make us aware by telephone before your visit. Local collection and Delivery is still available for all our service customers (subject to terms and conditions). We will be prioritising our vulnerable and elderly customers. Our drivers will be using PPE and will use antibacterial spray on the areas that they have touched before allowing you to enter your car. If possible, please leave the car windows open to ventilate before collection. We have re-organised the service reception area which is only suitable for one household. There are other seating areas in the dealership so please do ask our receptionist. We have removed our reading material and our refreshment stations at this time to protect customers and staff and we are encouraging card payments for Service Department work and deposits for car purchases. Our technicians use PPE when working on all vehicles. This includes wearing a new pair of disposable gloves for each vehicle, fitting a disposable seat cover and the car has all the common surfaces disinfected before returning it to you. Please turn off your air conditioning system and remove your personal items before leaving the car with the Service Department. This includes removing all items from the boot if the car is to have an MOT or access to a spare wheel is needed.
